The Cursed Blade

The Cursed Blade is a roguelite about a fabled, cursed sword wielded by a possessed adventurer in hopes of defeating a great evil. 

The Cursed Blade was created for the Pirate Software - Game Jam 16.

Controls

  • WASD to move
  • Mouse cursor to aim sword
  • SPACE, E, ENTER, or Left-Click to advance/exit dialogue
  • E to interact
  • ESC to pause the game
  • SPACE to use wielder upgrade

I wasn't sure if it was intentional, but I liked the rollerskating movement mechanics the most out of this. Though, the Header of the game was the same as the game, I mistook it for the game itself, waiting and wondering why the game hasn't loaded yet lol
